What are the responsibilities of the Bernicia Board
Fundamental to the successful delivery of our strategy is the board and leadership team working together in a clear and focused way. Our governance and senior team structures are fully aligned to support the delivery of our strategy.
The Group Board delegates decision making responsibilities to four sub committees. This ensures the Group’s Board focuses on key areas of Strategy. The Group Board has also delegated some decision-making responsibilities to the Bernicia Commercial Board.
The Commercial Board focuses on all areas of the Group’s Commercial activities and has responsibility for developing and monitoring the delivery of the Commercial Strategy.
The Board aims to achieve a high standard of governance and has therefore adopted the National Housing Federation Code of Governance (2020 edition).
