What are the responsibilities of the Bernicia Board
Strong governance is fundamental to achieving our strategic ambitions. Our Board, Committees and Executive Leadership Team work together to provide effective leadership, oversight and accountability across the Group.
The Group Board is supported by five Committees which provide detailed scrutiny and assurance in key areas, allowing the Board to focus on strategic direction and long-term success. Certain responsibilities are also delegated to the Commercial Board, which oversees the Group’s commercial activities and the delivery of the Commercial Strategy.
To ensure we maintain the highest standards of governance, Bernicia has adopted the National Housing Federation Code of Governance (2020).
