Avril Gibson

Avril has been part of Bernicia’s board since 2018 after retiring as a Chief Executive in the voluntary sector. Avril brings considerable knowledge of the voluntary sector and community development. Avril previously chaired Bernicia’s Customer Services Committee and was been a Trustee of the Bernicia Foundation before becoming Chair of the Board in 2026.
