Starter Tenancy Guide

If you are a new tenant, you will have been given a starter tenancy (also known as an assured shorthold tenancy). Starter tenancies offer tenants a reduced set of rights for an initial period of 12 months.

We will visit you shortly after you have moved into your home to ensure you are not having any problems and to offer
support and advice where we can.

We will also use this opportunity to check you understand and are keeping to the rules of your tenancy agreement, which can be found in the Your Starter Tenancy Guide
