Domestic abuse can happen to anyone. It’s an abuse of power used by one person to control another. It’s any incident or pattern of incidents of controlling, coercive or threatening behaviour, violence or abuse.
It can affect anyone regardless of their personal characteristics such as gender, age, ethnicity, disability, sexuality, transgender or religion.

• Provide you with quality advice and support by trained staff. Where we cannot help you directly, we will signpost you to specialist agencies that can help
• Where appropriate, take action against those who commit domestic abuse or support them to stop
• Keep you updated regularly if we are supporting you or taking action.
