Gas Safety Guide

Our commitment to gas safety

We are committed to keeping our homes safe and ensuring gas appliances and installations are properly managed. Gas safety is a critical part of protecting residents’ health and wellbeing, and we take our responsibilities as a landlord seriously.

Gas safety is managed in line with our Gas Safety Policy, which sets out how we meet our legal and regulatory responsibilities and how gas safety is monitored across our homes.

How we keep yur home gas safe

In line with our Gas Safety Policy, we:

  • carry out annual gas safety checks in homes where gas is present
  • ensure checks are completed by Gas Safe registered engineers
  • inspect and test gas appliances, pipework, and flues we are responsible for
  • take action where a gas safety risk is identified
  • keep records of gas safety checks and any remedial works

These checks are essential to make sure gas appliances are working safely and efficiently.

Access for gas safety checks

By law, we must complete an annual gas safety check where gas is present in your home.

We will contact you in advance to arrange an appointment. Providing access at the scheduled time helps us meet our legal duties and keep you safe.

If you are unable to keep an appointment, please contact us as soon as possible so it can be rearranged.
