Location: Ashington (base location)

Contract: Permanent - Full time 

Hours: 37 Hours Per week Monday to Friday

Salary: £38,224.30 per annum, OTE circa £43,000 per annum (including standby payments).

About the role:

• It is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a team, responsible for delivering property maintenance services to all of our tenants in line with Bernicia’s and the construction sectors competency standards.
• The role includes installation, responsive maintenance and servicing of gas appliances, therefore you must be able to demonstrate your experience of these activities.

About you:

You'll possess a sound knowledge of domestic property components and materials with an awareness of other building trades. You'll need:

• Experience of delivering a range of multi-skilled activities whilst observing applicable building regulations and health & safety requirements.
• NVQ/City & Guilds certificate in plumbing or equivalent
• ACS Accredited gas certification qualifications
• A 'can do attitude' with enthusiasm for the role
• A flexible approach which includes working outside of usual business hours to provide emergency repairs
• A full UK driving licence is essential.
