Location:      Durham / Ashington

Contract:      Permanent

Hours:           37 per week.

Salary:        £34,469 per annum (inclusive of car allowance).

Closing Date:  Thursday 29th August 2024, 5PM.

About the role:

As an Asset Condition Surveyor you will support the delivery of the Asset Management Strategy and associated policies/plans, enabling the delivery of a best in sector strategic asset management service. Working with a team, this will include carrying out specific property surveys, technical inspections, providing technical advice and solutions as well as completing contract administration.

About you:

You’ll need:

• Excellent IT Skills including the use of mobile working and asset/property related data collection applications.
• Understanding of the Decent Homes/HHSRS standard and other relevant Housing standards, guidance, legislation and best practice.
• An understanding of building pathology and general construction.
• Ability to understand, interpret and present complex asset/property data
• Use and application of the relevant asset/property database systems used in the detailed analysis/interpretation of the core property, strategic asset management, sustainability, compliance and energy/decarbonisation.
