Bernicia is a member of the Care Leavers Covenant
The Care Leaver Covenant was established in 2018 as part of the Government’s Keep on Caring’ policy aimed at supporting young people leaving care.
Our Care Leavers Programme includes one-to-one mentoring, support with training, work experience, internships and apprenticeships for care leavers aged 16-25, helping them take their next steps.
We work with local businesses to understand recruitment challenges and then work in partnership to create employability training programmes that provide people withthe the skills they need to make the most
