Annual salary and benefits circa £36,786 including car allowance

Ashington/Durham Flexible to suit the operating areas of Bernicia.

As Retrofit Advisor you will support the delivery of the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund SHDF Wave 2.1 grant delivery to Bernicia’s homes, improving tenants’ energy efficiency and comfort by ensuring effective contract administration and monitoring of the contract.

You will ensure effective tenant and stakeholder engagement strategies are in place and effectively managed in accordance with SAP2035 responsibilities, so that tenants understand their individual retrofit measures.

You will promote strategies relating to the improvement of the energy efficiency of Bernicia Group’s asset portfolio, maximising grant opportunities and ensuring grant draw down milestones are achieved in a timely manner.

We are looking for a likeminded and experienced person who has experience of effective and comprehensive contract administration and monitoring service for Energy Efficiency Grant Funding initiatives ensuring all key milestone requirements for grant drawdown are achieved.

You will have effective communication and customer service skills to support our tenants’ engagement throughout the retrofit programme.

The role is varied and is a key part of the success of our team.
