Assistant Accountant

• Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• £29,316 per annum
• Permanent position
• Option to work from Ashington and/or Durham Office
• Hybrid working available

Joining our Regional and National award-winning finance team, the Assistant Accountant will support the Finance Team with responsibilities including assisting in the production of:

• Income and expenditure accounts
• Balance Sheets
• Annual budget and forecast outturns
• Financial performance reports
• Regulatory returns, including VAT and CIS returns and Companies House submissions

You’ll also support with ensuring the integrity of our finance systems and helping develop our systems to make them fit for the future.
