North East estate agent Living Spaces has struck gold for the second time this year by winning the British Property Award for Estate Agents in Newcastle upon Tyne city centre.
The Grey Street-based agent – part of Bernicia Group – performed outstandingly throughout the extensive judging period, which focused on the level of customer service delivered by their sales team, and they will now be shortlisted for a number of national awards.
Having already been awarded best Letting Agent in Newcastle for 2020-21 by the British Property Awards, this accolade further recognised the excellent customer service provided by Living Spaces staff in a highly competitive market.
The British Property Awards provide agents throughout the UK with an invaluable opportunity to compare the service that they provide against the service provided by their local, regional and national competition.
Vikki Higginbottom, Business Manager at Living Spaces, commented: “We are delighted that the outstanding work of our team has been recognised again with this prestigious award. Everyone should be extremely proud to have maintained such high levels of customer service, especially during such a difficult period.
“This achievement would not be possible without the amazing hard work of our Sales Specialist, Hannah Wilson (pictured), who makes such a significant contribution to the team’s success.”
Living Spaces is the sales, lettings and management arm of Kingston Property Services, part of the Bernicia Group. Living Spaces and Kingston both make a significant contribution towards Bernicia’s work helping North East communities through the Bernicia Foundation.
The British Property Awards are recognised as one of the most inclusive estate agency awards, on average judging over 90% of agents meeting the criteria at a local level. Its team mystery shops every agent against a set of 25 criteria to comprehensively judge customer service levels.
Robert McLean from The British Property Awards added: “Our awards have been specifically designed to ensure that we have the most inclusive awards, removing any opportunity for bias or manipulation. Winning agents should be proud that their customer service levels provide a benchmark for their local, regional and national competition.”
Bernicia has become the first organisation outside the public sector to sign a Northumberland County Council pledge to help young people leaving care achieve their ambitions. The council’s Care Leaver Covenant 2023+ renews the local authority’s promise to provide care-experienced young people aged 16…
