Salary:                        £35,548 per annum.

Hours:                        37 per week, Monday to Friday

Contract:                    Permanent

Closing Date:             10am on Wednesday 25th March.

About the Procurement Officer Role:

This role will involve:

• Giving excellent procurement support across the Bernicia Group.
• Evaluating and managing procurement activities.
• Maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.   

Your Experience:

Successful candidates will need:

Essential:

• Minimum of two years public procurement experience
• Have proven tendering experience including market engagement, contract drafting and evaluations.
• Knowledge of Procurement Act 2023
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• IT skills including the use of Microsoft packaged including Word and Excel.
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as within a team 

Desirable:

• CIPS Qualification
• Experience of delivering services within the social housing sector.
• Experience of e-procurement systems specifically In-Tend.
