Contract:      Permanent

Hours:           37 per week

Salary:           £72,160.86 per annum, including car allowance (pending April pay review).

About the role:

• We’re looking for an exceptional, talented individual who is results driven with the right skills, qualities and proven track record to achieve the positive outcomes our customers deserve. 
• Developing and implementing our asset management and investment strategies, leading the delivery of our retrofit and decarbonisation objectives, and driving opportunities to maximise the wider social value and financial return from our assets. 
• You’ll lead, inspire and engage people to fulfil their potential and enjoy being part of Bernicia’s shared vision.
• Seek out opportunities to continuously improve services to meet challenging targets, help take us to the next level of delivering a great customer experience and be at the forefront of working with local and regional partners and stakeholders.

About you:

You’ll need:

• Chartered Status or Degree or significant demonstrable and relevant experience at a similar level (all in a relevant and related discipline).
• Experience of collaborating and working as part of an effective senior management team
• Experience of leading professionals (in relevant disciplines) and successfully delivering the required outcomes in a performance driven culture.
• Ability to think strategically and make clear decisions on complex issues whilst being able to develop plans and programs to achieve strategic corporate objectives.
• Ability to analyse, interpret, and present recommendations based upon complex data and financial information.
• Development, delivery and review of short, medium- and long-term financial plans.
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of the current and evolving key regulatory requirements/standards within the housing sector, including a comprehensive knowledge of current and future challenges in the field of strategic asset management and retrofit.
