We have an exciting opportunity for Multi Skilled Joiner to join our Property Maintenance and Construction Departments based at our Spennymoor depot.

As a multi skilled Joiner you will be responsible for not only undertaking all joinery repairs to both domestic and commercial properties to a high standard but also for the delivery of excellent customer service.

To be successful in this role you will have a flexible approach and experience of working within a commercial and domestic property maintained, target driven environment.  We at Bernicia are customer focused so you will have excellent customer service skills as you will need to converse with a wide range of people to provide effective resolutions when problem solving.

You will be required engage with all stakeholders of the service as an Ambassador of Bernicia, promoting and endorsing the positive work that we do across our communities in the Bernicia way. For the technical bit, you will have a sound working knowledge of all elements of building construction, components, materials, building trades and applicable regulations.  It is therefore essential that you hold a City and Guilds Craft Certificate in Joinery or the equivalent as well as an appropriate CSCS card and driving licence. You will also be able to demonstrate experience of working in a customer focussed environment where the customer comes first.
