Housing Officer – Allocations & Lettings

FTC - Maternity Cover

• Salary and car allowance - £31,676 per annum.
• Full Time, 37 Hours per week Monday to Friday
• Temporary post to cover maternity
• Based in our Head Office, Ashington

As a Housing Officer in the Allocations and Lettings team you will have the ability to effectively adapt to change programmes and to deliver excellent services in a highly competitive environment.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of all aspects of housing management. We are looking for candidates who have excellent communication skills and are solution focussed.

As a Housing Officer you will deliver excellent, consistent and responsive housing management services, which include:

• Neighbourhood and tenancy management
• Anti-social behaviour
• Allocations and lettings
• Empty property management, customer viewings and welcome visits
• Income management
• Customer involvement, empowerment and inclusion
• Tenant liaison and support

It is expected that this role will be fixed term for a period of approximately 12 months.

A full valid driving licence and use of a vehicle for work purposes are required.
