About the role:

Joining our Regional and National award-winning finance team, the Management Accountant will support the Strategic Finance Team. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Timely and quality preparation of management information for the Group. This includes monthly management accounts, budget variance analysis, budget profiling and reforecasting, treasury management, business planning and financial regulatory returns. 
  • Effective and efficient management of all of the Group’s accounting records in line with statutory obligations and current accounting requirements. 
  • Provision of effective and efficient management information to the Group. 
  • Ensuring excellent support services are delivered across all Group departments and external customers, including companies under the Group’s management.

About you:

You’ll need:

·         A recognised professional accounting qualification or equivalent substantial experience.

·         To be self-driven and motivated to succeed.

·         Excellent skills relating to written and verbal communication, report writing, time management and problem solving.

·         To be able to act as a key member of the Strategic Team, demonstrating leadership, ownership, responsibility, accountability, influence and commitment.

·         A customer focused and objective orientated approach.
