Our Customer Engagement Officer, Gillian Buchan, has been out and about, building closer ties with the Northumberland Community Bank who provide an ethical banking service across the county.
Gillian has been working with the Community Bank to help raise awareness among tenants and colleagues about the services it offers such as supporting people with financial inclusion and awareness, providing access to a safe place for savings, responsible lending, and being an ethical alternative to high street banks.
Last week (26 July) she attended one of its open morning events which took place in Berwick. Gillian said: “It was great to attend such a positive event and meet everyone involved in delivering such a vital service.
“The Community Bank’s CEO, Lauren Langton and Relationship Manager, Yvonne Carter have an impressive drive and enthusiasm for providing the ethical banking services which are of great value to our tenants and our colleagues. I’m looking forward to a continued partnership and supporting future campaigns.”
