Employability Business Partner

We are delighted to be delivering an innovative new employability project with the aim giving a helping hand to people in the North East.

We’re passionate about our communities and helping local people to succeed.  We’ve a strong history of supporting people to live well in their homes and communities.

Our social inclusion values are at the heart of what we do.  So we’re excited to be launching our new Community Investment Strategy which will see us expand our activities to support aspiration and employment across the North East, and focus on a wide range of social and economic inclusion activities.

In support of these aspirations we are advertising some fantastic opportunities to join our newly created Employability team, including two Employability Business Partner roles:

Employability Business Partners

We’re looking for people who share our motivation to make a difference, joining our new Employability Team to deliver skills training and employment support for job seekers, whilst working with businesses to help them meet their recruitment needs.

As an Employability Business Partner, you will be passionate about working with schools and businesses to help more people achieve the skills they need to thrive in the world of work. You’ll be accustomed to working independently, seeking out new opportunities and delivering results.  You will be comfortable working with business leaders and job seekers, presenting to audiences and collaborating with partner organisations.

Our schools and apprenticeship programmes are important to us, so we’re keen to hear from applicants who have a good understanding of the needs of young people about to enter the job market.
