Safeguarding and Compliance Coordinator

Care and Support

  • Permanent post
  • Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Salary £34,476 per annum, plus a car allowance
  • Based in either of our offices in Pity Me, Durham or Ashington, Northumberland

This post offers a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Safeguarding and Compliance Coordinator to join our Care and Support team and help us to deliver an excellent customer experience.

We’re looking for an exceptional talent to coordinate our approach to safeguarding and to support the compliant delivery of our operational services.  You’ll be responsible for providing a variety of practical support and organisational activities as well as helping to shape our services to meet changing needs.

A highly organised individual and excellent communicator you'll have a strong track record of delivering results, significant experience of safeguarding practice, a focus on robust performance management and the ability to demonstrate strength in coordinating others.

We never get complacent at Bernicia, so you’ll seek out opportunities to continuously improve services to meet challenging targets and obtain best value for customers; working in partnership with stakeholders, external partners and colleagues.

As this role involves mobile working, you must hold a full current driving licence and have access to a car for business use.
