Welcome to Bernicia's Annual Reports
When we set up the Bernicia Group in 2008 we believed we could achieve more by working together, pooling our resources and skills within the Group to meet our objectives and investing more in our community capacity building and regeneration work.
Three years on we are delighted with what we have achieved. We are ahead of programme delivering on our promises and have invested over £44m improving the homes of our existing tenants. We have also provided over 230 new homes, enhanced and improved our services and seen an increase in customer satisfaction.
During 2010/11 our Board, Staff and Tenants have tirelessly worked together to implement the Becoming Bernicia Structural Change Plan. This has seen the introduction of a new Bernicia Governance Structure, restructured Operating Divisions which are more responsive to our tenant profile, and our tenants working with us to introduce a Bernicia Tenant Scrutiny Structure.
Our Annual Reports to both Tenants and Stakeholders capture some of this work and reflect on our commitment to deliver outstanding services to our customers and create a brilliant place to work for our staff.
